"The Connaught hotel Wolverhampton If you want something budget that’s an absolute cheap hole by all means ! But I won’t be ever again! Firstly the ring door bell is broken…. You walk in to be greeted with a lovely bar area but the rest is a dive! Even the remote didn’t have a back and tv only worked on selected channels Staff were blunt and not really accommodating. weird you didn’t get your key in a key card considering it’s suppose to be a great western hotel. On arriving in our room we didn’t need to even look around found lots of issues. Shame work men have to be so loud at 5am in the morning and have no consideration for others and shout up and down the corridor You really need to re do your rooms or simply sort them out properly! Bar area seemed to be more important than the rooms…. Lift is out of use so if you’re having limited mobility it’s a joke…. Plastic spoon for your tea and coffee Dare not use the water coming out of the tap as it had a brown tinge to it Our room lock didn’t even work don’t waste your money or time on this place I don’t know how you can run a business take money of genuine people and call it a hotel 🏨 must be so proud of yourselves"

"Good value for a hotel within easy walking distance of the city centre. Quite a spacious room, but no drawers or cupboards. Some rooms face the ring road but ear plugs get rid of the traffic noise."

"Studio apartment was perfect, all the basic necessities, clean, equipped kitchen, modern bathroom. Right in the town centre. And for an unbeatable price. Recommend to anyone needing a short stay in Wolverhampton "

"The most dirtiest hotel I've ever seen! The carpets were covered by dirts and stains, moulds were everywhere on the corners of windows and room, toilet was not clean. I booked a room with a queen size bed and sofa bed. The hotel sent me a message askinge if I need the sofa bed with a note that if I dont respond within few hours, they will assume I dont need it. I dont understand why did ask such a question in thw first place as it was included as part of room booking and how 2 adults+2 kids could fit in a queen size bed alone!! The question was utterly annoying considering that we had already been travelling and had no time to check my messages. Upon arrival, the staffs were not welcoming at all. We stayed in many Novotel hotels in the UK and abroad in the past, but the recent one was very unpleasant. The hotel obviously is in desperate need of renovation and more importantly recruiting a new management team."

"Host was excellent and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and everything you could possibley want - we didn't have an evening meal but was advised that we would need to pre-order on the day of arrival due to ongoing redecoration works in the hotel. Plenty of parking to the rear of the hotel. Overall an excellent stay."
