Absolute Hotel Limerick

"The room, bar and breakfast were great. Was disappointed that property under construction including the parking so had to find somewhere else to park and pay. If there wasn’t going to be enough parking, hotel should have offered at least a discount at another parking garage."

"Although it was just an overnight stay to catch our flight the next morning, the room was clean and comfortable. The pillows were probably the best we had in our 2-week stay in Ireland. The only thing that I probably would have liked would to have been informed on check-in whether I want to include the breakfast. It was offered on-site when I booked but being a non-refundable room, I didn't want the extra cost in case of any issues that came up where I had to cancel."

"We enjoyed our stay. There were several issues we had but they were taken care of promptly by the staff when we spoke to them. Our room was a king bed “executive” room. It had good work space, storage for clothes, a coffee maker with coffee pods and a hot water maker for tea and instant coffee. Glasses of a couple different sizes, a refrigerator (it didn’t work but was replaced right away), charger plug for portable devices by the bed, and adequate plugs around the room. A small table and chair were two could sit at using the desk chair. Room lighting was good. Sun beat down on our windows in the afternoon heating up the room to the point where the air conditioner couldn’t keep up, so the staff brought in a fan that really helped. Decent breakfast, good bar and bar food. Great central location. We would stay there again."

"Great hotel, stayed here many times. Short walk to the centre, direct regular bus transfer from outside the hotel to and from shannon airport - route 343, cost €8.60 one way. We booked an exec room which gives access to the exec lounge, offering here is a little basic but the room is nice. My only feedback would be to suggest that the coffee machine in the room needs updating."

"Beautiful hotel, great parking area, superb location. Lots of fast charging places for electric cars. Pool area lovely with sauna and steam room. Pool towels were tiny though and music didn't match the spa wibe. Room was very comfy and we had gorgeous view to the castle. Rooms very spacious and clean. There was a note ice machine on 3rd floor for your convenience, we did manage to find it but there was no instructions. There was a water filter which was nice to get a refill. Staff seemed quite new and some (at reception) not very helpfull. I asked to pay for our breakfast for that morning at check out and after some awkward questions told to wait. While i was waiting to pay mine, I watched some other guests being told their breakfast was covered/ fine them asking to pay theirs. Over all a lovely hotel anyway, would recommend."
