Reverse level living means you’ll find three en suite bedrooms on the lower level, whilst on the upper level a comfortable open plan living space offers you somewhere to relax. Savour your morning coffee on the terrace as you breathe in the fresh sea air before the rest of the family rise and shine.

    Set within the gated Glendorgal grounds, the site is adjacent to the privately run Lusty Glaze beach with its long flight of steps down to the beach restaurant and facilities, perfect for families to relax and build a sandcastle or two. A walk or short drive around the coast is Porth Beach, offering an alternative family friendly beach with the natural wonder of the blow hole.

    With allocated parking and welcoming two pets, your family can enjoy exploring the attractions of Newquay and Cornwall. There are many family friendly beaches within easy reach including the famous Fistral Beach. For a more relaxed day out, mums and dads will love the Camel Valley Vineyard and there’s something for the whole family at The Eden Project. Closer to home, Newquay’s town centre is close by.

We had a great time in our Apartment.

We had a great time in our Apartment. It really did feel very homely and spacious. Both Porth Beach and Lusty Glaze were very close and Newquay town centre was not far, but even closer when the tide was out. I’d thoroughly recommend this apartment for a holiday.

Wow! What a fantastic location. A stones throw from Lusty Glaze beach, there were many amazing walks from this property. The property itself was spacious and inviting. It was well equipped and very clean. The bedrooms were comfortable and it was great to have an en-suite per room. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook some decent meals. Quality dishwasher included. I highly recommend booking this property that’s dog friendly too. We did purchase an additional parking space as it mentioned we could. Beware it is costly. It was £48 for 4 nights in September for us. It was still cheaper than public parking nearby. Overall it was super!

Perfect location , property needs maintenance, lots of weeds outside the main bedroom , scruffy looking , area where outside table is , is being a good clean , doesn’t look like been cleaned in a while , mould on back of doors in bathrooms , mould around showers , stale smell in bathrooms . Wardrobe door broken . Hoover absolutely stinks .

Unexpectedly disappointed

We had high hopes of this property, which is in an amazing location. But it doesn't meet its description. The so called terrace outside the bedrooms is unkept, with rusted old furniture and weeds that are waist high. The bathroom doors had black mould growing. We faced multiple plumbing problems- the towel rails wouldn't heat, one shower flooded due to a blocked drain, and one bathroom was smelly over the entire week - we think due to a blocked drain. The owners were wholly unresponsive.

Long weekend for a wedding

This was a perfect location and plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children (under 2, but older would still have space) Booking via Vrbo was not easy as the management changed hands and communication was poor. When we called direct from the website everything was sorted with no problems.

Loved our stay, albeit a short one. The property served our needs perfectly. Our elderly parents were our concern, we always look for properties that have enough walk in showers.. this one was spot on. We will be back. Loved our little walks around the cliff top with our pooch too. We rated amenities lower, because Lusty Glaze beach was closed, which was a shame. We had to travel in two cars, as there are 5 of us and a dog, it would have been too tight travelling from Bucks in one car.. we were worried about parking the second car, but didn’t have a problem in the end. We also noted we were not the only family with more than one car and this didn’t seem to be a problem either. Looking forward to another stay at Sea Glimpses.. It was an easy walk to the more secluded bay with Porth - where it was great to walk on the beach or visit the local pub the Mermaid which had good pub food. A longer walk along the south west coastal path to Watergate Bay was very enjoyable even in the wind. AN easy walk to Newquay for pubs and restaurants and a Tesco express within easy walking or cycling distance. Short car trip to the Fistral beach to enjoy the surfing and coastal steering. All round perfect spot to get away. Had all the facilities needed, good showers, comfortable beds, washing machine and tumbler and well equiped kitchen.
