"Rooms were clean and very large. The hotels communal areas are grand and beautifully decorated but the corridors and rooms could do with refurbishment. The car park is a joke. Very expensive and not at all managed by the hotel depsite them owning and charging for it. People were parking over 2 bays and the hotels wouldnt do anything about it even though they had every guests number plate on check in. This created a bit if a bunfight for parking spaces and not the relaxing start to the trip we would like. The view was stunning and the drinks were reasonably priced. Silly things like not having any mayonaise let them down. Overall though we had a wonderful stay and i think the hotel is good value for what we paid. "

"Just wonderful, peaceful, very well equiped, everything we needed with a luxury but cosy feel. Communication was excellent and facilities like the swimming pool and games room were perfect for our family. 100% would recommend and already have :) "

"We have literally just got back from spending 3 nights in this beautiful house. It was fantastic, beautiful peaceful location, just a short drive to various beaches and villages. The house was very clean, it had everything we needed and the pool and hot tub were perfect! I would highly recommend this house for large family/friends to be together for fun, games and creating lovely memories! "

"The staff were very welcoming and friendly.We had an evening meal which was really lovely and tasty and plenty of it .Our room was very clean and big enough for us,you can hear the traffic and people outside when going past as our room was by the entrance to the carpark but it was ok.Breakfast was a choice of tea,coffee,3 juices,pastries,yoghurt,cereals, toast,jam,marmalade,full english,eggs benedict so a great selection.Overall ill give our stay 10/10"

"Tired rooms..just grubbybreally and showing age. Main hotel under renovation. WiFi not working (blamed building works) restaurant which may be temporary resembles a staff canteen. Serves a purpose for business stop over and location by the river very nice"

"The hosts were very friendly,The cottage was spotless and cosy you had everthing you needed."

"The location was lovely & property itself was neat & clean. Keys were easy to find, kitchen well equipped & parking nearby. Entrance decking was filled with moss so slipped the first night in dark. Living room heating didn't work so did bathroom extractor. Found our way around these.. but failed with bath tub. Took best part of a day for few inches of water to drain. Hopefully, these will be fixed for future guests."
