"Surprised to get twin room with a side sea view although no access to balcony.bathroom tiny but served it’s purpose but was a little dusty.beautiful breakfast and had a bar meal one evening which was delicious,crab and prawn linguine.pool was ok,shame outdoor was closed.think that’s permanent"

"This is a amazing cottage in a fantastic village Also great location to visit other places The cottage has everything you need to relax and enjoy your stayThe host's Maddy and Godfrey are very helpful I would recommend this cottage to anyone and I will be going back there The village has two fantastic pubs which do very good food and a village shop which sells most things It just a fantastic place"

"Ein sehr idyllisch gelegenes Häuschen mit viel Ruhe drumherum. Das Haus war sehr sauber und alles notwendige war da. Der große Gemeinschaftspool war besonders bei den Kindern sehr beliebt. Der Wäscheservice und die Kommunikation waren unkompliziert. Viele hilfreiche Informationen zum Haus, zur Umgebung und zu Aktivitäten wurden wunderbar übersichtlich im Haus zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir konnten viele Unternehmungen starten. Es war während unserer Zeit im Sommer sehr warm, zwei Lüfter im Haus konnten etwas helfen (und natürlich der große Pool)."

"Our first mini break away alone, in 13 years and it didn't dissapoint. Anne is the most lovely host, so organised, courteous and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We were a little hot in the small double room, however Anne quickly provided a fan that assisted well. Breakfast was very tasty and scheduled for a time to suit us. Anne was very accommodating to my intolerances and catered with alternative milk and yoghurt. When booking I was unsure if booking the pool would be inconvenient, if plans changed and did think why did they not have the pool open at all times. However, when we were there it all made sense. You book your time slot for your 2 hour private session, with your selection of music, Anne was kind enough to bring us water & icecream during too. It would not have been the same tranquil experience if we would have been in the pool with others. The pool and poolside was extremely clean. The pool was warm at 30degrees. The whole atmosphere of the house and garden was tranquil and relaxing, it truly gave spa vibes. It was just what we were looking for. We did think you could do some costal walks directly from the house but that was my mistake for not looking into this more. However, everywhere was so close by car. We visited Babbicombe, Totnes, Torquay, Teignmouth, Mary Church and Dawlish. Please follow the directions to the house that are sent to you as we got to the bottom of the road (the wrong end) and it was very dangerous to drive up."

"First class property, superbly equipped. The information provided in advance was also great and as good as we have seen for a long time.The family also enjoyed the pool and the children's play area.Our only disappointment was that there were no footpaths local to the property that we could use for a walk, but that is not a fault with the property.We would recommend the property without reservation."
