"Susan is an excellent host. Unobtrusive, but there when needed and nothing is too much trouble. She also provides an excellent and varied breakfast. Although in the middle of the village, the property is private and secure. Our room was comfortable and lacked nothing. It was also warm as the temperature dropped below freezing outside. Nice place for a stay.
"Lovely room ,hard mattress which I liked but my wife didn't. Dog friendly. The breakfast choice was just right ,full English or cereals and fruit etc. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds but due to the amount of rain recently the ground was a bit swamped."
