"The Holiday Inn Express in Fall River is a total win if you’re looking for a solid place to crash with the family. We needed a spot that wouldn't break the bank for two adults and two kids, and this hit the mark perfectly without feeling cheap. The breakfast was honestly the best part of the stay. It isn't just stale cereal; they have a full spread with hot pancakes, eggs, and those addictive cinnamon rolls. It’s a huge money-saver when you’re trying to get four people fed and out the door without hunting for a diner. In terms of cost, the stay felt very reasonably priced. You get a clean, modern room without that "tourist trap" markup you often find closer to the coast. We didn't feel like sardines either, as the room was fresh and the beds were actually comfy enough for a good night's sleep. The vibe is super chill, and the staff was helpful from the jump. The location is also really convenient if you’re planning to check out Battleship Cove or just need a reliable home base near the highway. It’s exactly what a family trip needs: clean, affordable, and well-fed. If you want to save some cash but still want a great breakfast and a comfortable room, definitely book here. We’d do it again in a heartbeat!"

"We stayed in a suite in Building 2, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable—hard as a rock—and easily the worst I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. There were also several maintenance issues in the room. Both of the sun-filter roll-down shades in the bedroom were broken, there was a cracked window, and the shower curtain rod was barely attached, hanging on by just one screw. Another major drawback was the view. The neighboring property appears to be abandoned and is essentially a junkyard, with piles of debris—wood, sinks, toilets, and more—stacked high. While we noticed it when parking, any rooms facing that direction would have a direct and very unpleasant view. Additionally, the indoor pool heater was not working, which was disappointing. Overall, the property has potential, but in its current condition it felt more like an outdated dorm or long-term rental than a well-maintained hotel."

"The rooms were nice don't get me wrong, but they were not clean. The housekeeper left a note with her name, and I though "why do this? why take credit for an unclean room?" The bathroom was not clean and there were hairs and dirt all over the floors, and the blanket and sheets had stains on them. "

"The appearance and cleanliness of this hotel was more than I expected. Everything was fresh and clean and staff was friendly and yes, I would recommend it and yes, I would stay there again.!!!"

"Hidden gem in Portsmouth RI! Super clean, comfortable, safe. Very large suites with lots of natural light, beautiful property! Highly recommend!"

"Front is under construction. Had to wait 2 hours to get our room, apparently they were waiting on confirmation that that the room was set. About 15 people waiting for 2 hours to get their room. Resort fee was charged although the only thing available was the pool. Shady character seen hanging by elevators on different floors. We had two rooms, my daughter’s room was next to a room with “swingers” in full force until 3:30 am."

"This hotel is VERY outdated. The floors in our room were uneven. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. There was no hand or body soap in the dispensers. The only plus was location as it was directly across the street from the start and finish lines for the marathon. The staff was very nice but the hotel is in need of a major overhaul."
