"Great for business and pleasure "

"7 Gables Inn is a quaint bed and breakfast , filled with old world charm and warm inviting atmosphere. I arrived quite late and was welcomed by one of the owners. Check-in was in a lovely kitchen, where I was offered home baked cookies. There is a waterfall feature in the foyer and I was fortunate enough to book the waterfall room. Vintage furniture , beautiful vintage decor and bedding all added so much comfort and enjoyment to my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was immaculately cleaned, and there was a desk, wifi. tv and even a dvd player. The bath was large with a jetted tub, so nice after a day of travel. Breakfast each morning was homemade by the lovely wife and included an inviting variety of things sure to please anyone’s taste. Breakfast is served family style in the upstairs kitchen, where the tables are set with lovely China and real silverware. I enjoyed hearing native Alaskans tell stories of their heritage and folklore while having coffee in the living room and continuing as we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The home is open to wander and there are so many treasures to see, the greenhouse entrance to the Inn, the bookcases filled with interesting books and the cross-stitched names on each guest room. Oh and the incredible stained glass throughout. This place is not like a chain hotel, it is like staying at the home of a favorite relative. The price is also very affordable for the area!"

"Room was comfortable and clean. There were lots of dining options within a walkable distance. There's also a shuttle for airport transportation."

"Nancy is a most accommodating host and sent texts with information about the area and places we might enjoy going and things we might enjoy doing nearby. We found the cabin clean and adequate for our needs; there was a small kitchenette with a table and chairs, clean bathroom and a queen sized bed. Outside there are a couple of chairs, a grill and a firepit area."

"Well appointed and very comfortable home on the Chena river. Just outside of the North Pole and a 20 minute drive the Fairbanks. This was a perfect jump-off point for all of our adventures. The Chena break-up was occurring, our kids got to fish a bit and we saw multiple Golden Eagles scouting the river. The property had a pair of binoculars on-site. The home had everything you could ever ask for and then had the things you didn't realize you might want! Firewood, fishing poles, outdoor grill, etc. Very nice opportunity to have a few family meals on vacation. Gorgeous property, don't think twice about staying here."

"Our family had a wonderful stay! This was a bucket list trip for my wife’s mother who turns 80 this year. She’s always wanted to see the Northern Lights…and we did! Once on a tour and AGAIN right over our heads at this awesome cabin. The cabin is very cozy will all the conveniences need for our family of 5. The surroundings are very private and peaceful and North Pole, AK has all you need to stay provisioned. Fairbanks is 20-25 minutes away and is a great little town. We highly recommend staying here."
