Excellent Hotel in the heart of Cairns

I liked the very friendly hotel team, pool, close to the city and restaurants, clean rooms.

Nice pool area, good location. Breakfast was excellent.

Lobby / Bar area is outstanding but rooms and corridors need to be redecorated - looking very tired ie carpets worn / rooms marked chipped furniture etc Staff where very good although roomS were not made up in the morning and we had to wait until 1700 on one evening Not ideal after having a full day out !! COCOS restaurant is outstanding we had a awesome New Years Eve Meal which was second to none . Would we use this hotel again YES

What a breath of fresh air. Such friendly staff, the big hotel chains could certainly learn something about sincerity by watching the front desk staff. Always smiling, always welcoming & always ready to help. On first entering the room I was feeling a little apprehensive. Ear plugs had been left for my wife & I. I needn't have worried though as they certainly weren't required. Would I stay there again? You bet I would.

Nicest apartment I have ever stayed in. Very clean and absolutely huge. Loved the space and the washing facilities in the one bedroom apartment. It was fantastic. Cutlery was a bit dirty/ rusty. I didn't like that I apartment wasn't serviced and that you had to deposit rubbish before leaving etc. Also only certain reception hours. The reception area wasn't great, very clinical smelling.
