"Great place for the price. the rooms are spacious and clean, however, a little "dark" and could use updating a bit (my room did not have any window at all which contributed to the darkness). Breakfast is ample and sufficient and they offer snacks to take for later in the day . Location is great for catching the ferry or walking into town."

"It was a lovely place to stay! The restaurant/bar was so convenient and good...with a nice setting on the beach. We loved our room with a balcony at a very reasonable price. Most importantly...the staff were so friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Hope, at the front desk was super helpful. Chris, the bartender, was so pleasant and fun."

"What a gorgeous, beautifully maintained historic mansion. The grounds were lovely too. My one (negative) surprise was learning -- at check-in -- that our room was in the carriage house BEHIND the actual inn. In the carriage house, we had to climb four flights of stairs to get to our room on the top floor. No elevator. Again, we were not told about this ahead of time or asked if we had the capacity to climb four flights of stairs."

Bridge Vista Beach - Hotel & Convention Center

"This hotel is large and has an attached water park. When it was built and last refurbished, it was a quality place. Now, after so much use, it is shabby in some ways. However, the room was clean and the bedding and towels were above average. The mattresses are good. There is a mildew smell in the hall leading to the water park addition, but my roomed smelled fine. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is dog friendly for a fee. I’ve stayed here 5 or so times and never had a bad experience. There is a beautiful beach with easy access right outside the back door. There is indeed a bridge vista of the Mackinac Bridge and you can watch the ferry boats coming and going to Mackinaw island. It is enchanting at night. There is good coffee available in the morning. No breakfast, although there are discount coupons for some of the local places. I only know of one hotel in the city that offers breakfast, so this is not unusual. Ample parking is available with a secure lot. Outside doors of the hotel are not locked at night, although there are good deadbolts on the room doors with easy electronic keys."
