Picturesque pub
Good location. Immaculate premises. Friendly and informative staff. Food excellent, portions very large (we would have liked a 'lighter options/smaller appetites' menu).

We stayed at The Black Swan for a short break just as the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted.We would like to thank the management and staff for making our stay so enjoyable. They have with much thought to the safety of themselves and their guests managed to retain a welcoming local country pub atmosphere whilst maintaining the social distancing criteria. The beers are well kept and the food, both the evening meals and breakfasts were very enjoyable. The room we stayed in was well appointed and very clean, in truth the whole building and external spaces were all immaculately kept and tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend a visit to The Black Swan.

The Black Swan Inn is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are decorated nicely, well maintained and the bed was very comfy. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We didn't have our evening meal in the Black Swan, but breakfast was very nice and cooked to order. I will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Norwich

Would certainly stay again.
I lovely small and friendly inn. The room was fairly small but very clean the bed was super comfortable. I loved the bathroom which was spacious and also spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant both for a lunch and a dinner with friends and the service was excellent and the food good. Ample parking and the inn is set in a beautiful village. Overall very pleased and would stay again.

Very pleased with this B+B. A very comfortable, if snug, room with quality furniture, bed linen, towels etc. and en suite. The staff are very helpful and the bonus of a wide range of good food in the restaurant.

A fantastic find
A gorgeous Inn with lovely rooms and great food and staff We had a family room and were extremely pleased with the space , a good sized double bed , a single and trundle bed . If we needed to stay in this area again we would most definitely return!

A little gem of a place.
I would definitely recommend this place. From arrival to departure....... nothing was too much trouble, so accommodating!! The location of the Black Swan Inn is perfect for a stroll around/within the area, a 10 minute car journey into Norwich city and 18 miles from Cromer. Would definitely go back.

The pub is amazing, great comfy spotless rooms, we stayed in one of the newer rooms just a few months old. The food is great value and well cooked supported by good service. Equally a good was the breakfast selection included in the room rate. I cant rate the pub enough a great family celebration we will certainly be back in the future.

Good welcome and shown to room (No.4) Room was of a reasonable size and well-furnished, with a nice bathroom (shower over bath). Although it was abnormally warm weather, the open window and fan (provided) kept it tolerable. It is obviously very popular with locals, which gives it a good atmosphere. We ate in the restaurant both nights, where the food was good, but not outstanding, and the service was good. Breakfasts had a great choice, with the speciality being eggs - Benedict, Royale or Florentine.

A lovely old Inn in a quiet hamlet.Modern comforts
A lovely old Inn sympathetically extended. Staff friendly,welcoming and helpful. Housekeeping standards were outstanding and warrant special mention. Despite some building work going on the whole place was impeccably cared for and spotless. One area of disappointment was the restaurant meals. eg very tough lamb, seriously under cooked carrots,only one choice of soup [French onion] on the menu for four consecutive days, plated meals presented drowning in gravy or in sauce, ice cream served in a white enamel cooking bowl !! I do not want this to detract from the general excellence of everything else at the Black Swan, but you can only deal with short falls if you know about them.

An enjoyable visit
The Black Swan was an excellent place to stay for our visit to North Norfolk. The accommodation was comfortable, the staff were all helpful and friendly and the food, both breakfast and evening meal, was of a high standard. We hope to return.

Black Swan, Horsham St Faiths, is truly excellent. Superb staff, wonderful food, good rooms etc. Just to be a bit picky though: our room was directly over the bar and we could hear the beat of the background music - not loud enough to stop, us sleeping.

Lovely village pub with rooms. Stayed overnight for a business trip. Staff very welcoming, room very pleasant. Had an evening meal with two colleagues and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food especially the very generous portion sizes. Would definitely recommend to friends.

A lovely place to stay - wonderful service and spectacular menu. A bit busy on Thursday nights (Quiz Night) - the bar is full then, and there's no separate area for residents to relax in . Don't let that put you off - would stay again without a doubt. Beware Norwich traffic at the moment - they are digging everywhere up - took 45 mins to cover 4 miles !!!

Excellent 2 night stay whilst Christmas shopping in nearby Norwich. Well situated near airport (3 miles) and park and ride into the city. Evening meals at the Inn were superb and staff extremely helpful. Would certainly recommend.
