"This is a unique motel, and has the ‘retro’ theme well implemented. The room was clean and decorated in the style of the times, complete with rotary dial phone. Staff helped us pick out an appropriate restaurant. Sometimes with independent motels the information online is misleading, but in this case the motel was excellent and reasonably priced."

"The property was obviously older and in need of some upgrade work However, the mgt and/or staff "seemed" to be trying hard to improve things. Also he drove down from an offsite location to do a late check-in for us. All the amenities were functional, the main thing I observed was subpar cleanliness of some items (towels, bedding, etc.). I'm guessing either they are having trouble obtaining sufficient staff, or perhaps the manager is trying to do the work alone. So couldn't call it my "first choice" for staying in Cortez, but it was there when we needed it (and didn't have to fight with elevators or long flights of stairs, which is very difficult for my spouse to deal with)."

"My stay was very nice. The cabin was clean and the bed was decent. There was plenty of room for bags and my dog's bed. The bathroom was nearby and easy to access and I really liked that there was room to walk my dog it was fairly quiet for being so close to a main road. I didn't meet any staff as they had prepared an envelope with instructions. That was okay."

"WOW, stop scrolling & book this property, you will be glad you did. We found it to be the most immaculate, well stocked, well organized, cute & cozy home we have ever rented. There was everything you could possibly need in this home. The kitchen has so many utensils, dishes, any appliances that you will need & everything just gleamed, it was so clean! The decor is wonderful, beds comfy & nice furnishings through out the home. It’s like they have thought of everything. The communication was great & we had no issues at all during our stay. Thank you Jamie & Rodney for sharing your lovely home!"
