"Good location to be central to Kauai and airport access. Can drive up north or south easily. The rooms were clean but dated. The same with the bathrooms. We came when they were doing updates( may 2026)so areas were closed off to us that would have been nice to utilize when we were there. The pool areas had closures and the gym had an odor, maybe from the construction. Unknown and no AC. Spa was out of the way to try and use due to construction so it wasn’t inviting to try and book. Staff were friendly."

"Everything was perfect! No complaints about this stay. Our host was the best at communicating and helping us with anything we needed. It was unfortunate the property’s laundry machine was down, but he quickly helped us find a local laundry mat to get our laundry done. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"For people with a desire for Pool side activity this is a really good location. However, this beach location is not good for going in the water… Too many rocks.Navigation in the hotel was very difficult, lobby to buildings was up and down through various elevators. I got lost multiple times the first three days. My room was good."

"Kauai is beautiful, everywhere! The room was clean. Good Keurig coffeemaker. Extras like boogie boards, small over the shoulder soft side cooler, beach chair. The room is the farthest away from check in with the most amazing view. The location was a plus for us but for mobility limited people, it might be hard to access, particularly while the hotel is under construction. The construction didn't bother us, but some folks we met were complaining. It just meant more exploring to get around and some extra steps for us. Parking is about 800 steps away if walking is a concern. The staff were helpful and smiling. The pool was refreshing and the drinks yummy. We only went one day though, too busy seeing the island. The restaurant was just OK, imo. Again only went once. Crystal was super fast and easy to communicate with. Very sweet too. For the price, this room, location, and view, was the best."

"Entire hotel is under major renovation. Place simply should not be hosting tenants. There is no lobby and no quick access to pools / beach / rest of property / restaurants. The door locks didn’t even work and had to be changed before I entered. Host was very unresponsive and apathetic to the situation."

"The hotel was under construction. We chose to spend our first three days out of the hotel due to the pounding and banging noises. The slide closed at 4 PM which was about the time we got back each day and the last day we were there we chose to stay at the resort and use the slide and pool. Unfortunately, the slide was closed during the times it was supposed to be open and nobody seemed to know why. Didn’t get to enjoy the slide at all during our stay. On the last night of our stay a fire alarm went off at 4:30 in the morning and all of the guests were standing outside in the rain. No explanation was given, and the checkout staff seemed to have no clue what I was talking about when I asked him if there actually was a fire. The beach was very rocky and we didn’t bother to walk far enough to find sand or waves to play it. The room was nice and we appreciated the dehumidifier. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the beach or the resort and won’t be back again."
