"Well equipped cottage and good sized set in a quiet location with lovely views. Both double bedrooms had patio doors to outside space, one a communal courtyard, one a private garden. Easy off street parking for several cars, perfect base to explore island, Osborne house being particularly close. Easy to find after ferry from Fishbourne, stopped off at Quarr Abbey en route as literally passed its entrance. Check in easy to arrange with owner. Would recommend."

"Ally contact us with in minutes of our booking. Ally was very accommodating and helpful. When we arrived she showed us around the apartment which was clean and ready for us to use. Ally had arrange for extra items such as bread and milk to hand soap and washup liquid. The apartment was walking distance to the shops, pubs, restaurants and pier but not good if hills are a problem. Bed was very comfortable,the neighbourhood quiet so a good night sleep was a certain. We would highly recommend."

"A nice hotel 10minutes walk from Sandown Beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet location, although if you are travelling by car do not use the postcode on your satnav as you’ll end up in a neighbours garden. Hotel is part of a coach holiday group and is very much geared to those visitors. Self service full English breakfast was ok, but we didn’t see fresh fruit or yogurt and the juice and cereals were limited and set apart from the main breakfast ingredients on the other side of the room. No fridge or safe in the room. Stayed Fri-Mon early October, so the hotel was quiet. I would imagine it would be a lot busier during the summer months."

"We had a lovely three night stay at Sandhill with a nice comfy room which was very clean and with all essential amenities. Host Dave was very friendly and helpful and served excellent breakfasts. Good base for visiting lots of nearby island places. A nice unusual touch was they permit one to order/bring back an evening take-away meal to eat in their breakfast room. We would be very happy to stay here when next on the island!"
