Oakland Floats

Pros: Close to the beach (we didn't go). Beds were ok. It felt pretty safe. Had a pool with reasonable hours. Shower had good water pressure. They had complementary soap. They had a small breakfast nook in the morning. They thanked us for our stay when we left. Next to a bowling alley (if you have kids/want to do something fun that's close). Had a stove and a fridge in room, but we didn't use stove. Cons: Weren't ready for us to check in at our designated time, which made us late. They were pretty rude about this. Luke warm shower water that then turned cold. TV turned on but screen/picture was badly disfigured so it was hard to watch. There was no coffee when we got to breakfast (we got there at 8am, it ended at 930) and they seemed upset when another guy asked to refill it. Everything was pretty run down, fridge popped open so we lost what we had brought with us to eat. Smelled odd. Not the worst place if you just wanted a bed that was comfortable to sleep in a building that felt safe. We'd try a different hotel if we returned to this location, especially for the price.
