October Mountain State Forest Holidays

Both rooms was dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. It smelled real bad. If I could give these people zero stars I would’ve don’t go to this hotel. I’d rather go to a super eight then this hotel.

The tissue box was empty. The coffee machine was missing the pod holder and was not working properly. We had to call the service staff the next morning and it was repaired immediately

Checked in, dropped off luggage and at that point we did notice what looked like maybe coffee spilled down the front of one dresser which wasn’t a big deal, we wouldn’t be using the dresser; then left for a concert. Upon arrival back to hotel around 1130pm, we discovered there was no hand soap, no shower curtain and someone else’s wet undergarments left behind on the floor in the bathroom. Due to those oversights, I questioned the cleanliness of the rest of the room. Called the front desk and was moved to a different room. Much happier with that room. Breakfast was nice, but had a 10 minute wait for eggs because staff was not keeping up with empty breakfast items during the very busy breakfast hours (6-9am). Great location.

Nothing special… clean, convenient and safe.
