"Fabulous! Not a negative comment about anything. Everyone was so welcoming. The food was delicious. The private onsen on the patio was the cherry on top.
Easy walk to town for us but i will add there is a steep slope that could be challenging for some with luggage so you may want to take the bus. Highly recommend this experience!"
"Apartment was nice, so good to have mineral bath and foot bath, very quiet & beautiful views of the lake. Shame no restaurants open at night in the area but 7/11 was close. "
"We stayed for one night at Aura Tachibana, and our arrival from Osaka was unfortunately delayed by 3 hours due to a tsunami but we informed the hotel ahead of time and they were very accommodating.
The kaiseki dinner was amazing, so much food and beautifully presented. It was served in the restaurant (not in the rooms) with a lovely view of the mountains.
Our room had a private onsen which was great to have"
