"I came to Oakland to attend a concert, and the hotel did not disappoint. The location was prefect to the venue. The area had plenty to do,it was a ton of places to eat,which I loved. The hotel was quite, VERY CLEAN,the ENTIRE staff was friendly and helpful. I liked how the hotel had breakfast "fresh" breakfast every morning. My room was clean,bed was soft and comfortable. I do not have anything bad to say about this hotel......but do have a problem with the parking situation, which the hotel has nothing to do with anything outside the doors,except the VIP parking, it's really a rip off to charge $50 overnight. $30 for a day i think,$5 for 1/2 hour. The whole parking thing downtown is CRAZY. Just know next time I will not be renting a car, getting up by 8am to roam the streets because parking is $3 an hour at 8am is bananas,parking becomes free after 6p and hopefully you find a open spot. Hope people read this and don't do what I did,unless you have a lot of money to throw away on parking .I WILL BE USING THIS HOTEL AGAIN. JUST WON'T BE DRIVING LOL YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS HOTEL."

"We enjoyed this Victorian home and appreciated that both BRs had king beds (at least they appeared that size to us). Appreciated the kitchen area and were able to use the stovetop and oven without issue. Parking wasn't difficult...we were consistently able to get a space close to the house. The outside patio was a bit disappointing...appeared a bit forgotten. Otherwise, all was good."
