"The Spillway did not disappoint. We only wish we hadn’t stayed longer. The units are brand new and in great condition. Nice kitchenette and breakfast bar makes it easy to enjoy food in but there are a few good options just a couple blocks away, but with a sauna, hot tub, bikes, kayaks all available on the property, you can also make a case for not leaving. We had a great time here. As a bonus the upper level (1BR) units have a common outdoor connection that is like a private backyard that is clutch for anyone traveling with kiddos or pups."

"It’s a little peace of paradise! My favorite spots at this beautiful Lakehouse are sitting on the deck enjoying the lake view in the morning and relaxing on the dock in the evening. This Lakehouse is perfect for our family of 8, including 2 grandsons. My grandsons love kayaking and we all love paddleboarding. In the evening, the game room is popular for playing pool. The owners are great about handling any questions we have. We are already counting down the days until next year’s trip back to Torch Lake!"

Desk help didn’t know much about the area ( how to get to the beach across the road, didn’t tell us about steps to get to the casino instead of having to walk on the steep road. Didn’t tell us that we could park in an adjacent parking lot as the lot around the hotel is small and fills up. She was very pleasant.)"
