"Great room, new hotel so everything in decent shape. Large car park. Staff member on reception wouldn’t check us in without passports on every guest, which having come from France where everything is more relaxed, this seemed pretty intense. I dunno, maybe it’s a law in Spain. Decent buffet style breakfast too. Overall a good stay on the way through the Basque region."

"This is a fabulous hotel with lovely high-end touches (such as Penhaligan's products in the bathroom, restocked mini bar, luxury sized bath). We were so happy to stay there, the room was furnished beautifully - we were constantly googling items to find out where they were from! The spa area is LOVELY and was a welcome retreat, especially as we had a day of rain during our stay. Deba is very small, so easy to get around, but this hotel was in a great location right opposite the beach. They provided beach towels and i think i saw another couple take deck chairs from the hotel too. Service was great and the place was spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend and definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the staff, we have a wonderful 3 days in Deba."

"The host was good at communicating. Spacious apartment in great location. Everything you needed. We had a fabulous time.The only issue could have been parking, but in the advice of the host we parked just over the bridge and left our car there for the week. It wasn’t a problem but the town gets very busy."
