"My wife and I were doing a meandering drive from Ottawa to Montreal. We made a last-minute decision to stay here, grabbing the last room available. We knew it was a remote location, so our expectations were not high. Owner Dominic, however, has created a jewel along the Ontario side of the Ottawa River that I highly recommend for lodging and, more importantly, the food! The property used to be solely a restaurant, but post-pandemic, Dominic and his brother decided to turn the third generation...

"Overall, my stay was quite good — I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5. The place itself was fine, but there’s one thing worth mentioning. I’m not sure what it’s like during the week, but on Friday and Saturday nights, from around 10 p.m. to 3 a.m., there was loud music coming from a nightclub next door. It made it pretty hard to sleep. Thankfully, I had earplugs, otherwise it would have been a big problem. "

"This is a nice place to stay right in the centre of Minden. We arrived late and the pub was closed, but the instructions were clear and we found our way without any problem. Super clean and very comfy bed. No complaints whatsoever. We would stay there again."
