"Excellent small hotel in old town Marbella, with breakfast served in the pedestrianised square outside. Rooms are large, air conditioned and well decorated. Staff are really helpful. Short walk to dozens of nice restaurants. No pool, but there are plenty of good (free) beaches between Marbella and Puerto Banus, between 10 and 90 mins walk away. The hotel provides beach towels and sunbeds can be hired on the beach for between 7 and 25€ per day depending on location. Hotel-organised taxi transfer from airport is a good idea as the square outside is pedestrianised and if you don’t speak fluent Spanish it is difficult describing how to access it! Their €75 from Malaga is also a better rate than an airport cab or an Uber. "

"This 3 star hotel punches above it weight. I had one of the upgraded rooms on 5th Floor, it was light, airy and spacious, with a very large bed and the best air con I’ve ever had.The bathroom was Modern and again spacious. Breakfast was a typical buffet type and although not as varied as some hotels I’ve stayed in covered all bases. Apparently it closes in October to have a rooftop pool fitted and will reopen as a 4 star hotel. Before it does, there are some small things that you forgive a 3 star but not a 4 star. 1.. We all carry so many devices these days that need to be charged and the rooms don’t have enough power points or any USB charging points, that needs rectifying. 2.. The wifi can be a bit flaky, it took my iPad 2 or 3 attempts to connect and when connected it was only registering 2 strength bars. It needs to be much more powerful than it is. 3.. The conservatory area that leads from reception to restaurant is a bit of an eyesore, it’s badly ventilated and smells of stale tobacco, either do away with it completely or revamp it, guests don’t want to smell old ashtrays going into the restaurant. Would I stay their again, yes, be they 3 or 4 star, the staff are exceptionally friendly, particularly the breakfast room staff, the rooms are great and I would be interested to how see the rooftop pool was completed."

"This is the second time I’ve stayed in this hotel and both times it exceeded my expectations. Rooms are big, pretty balcony with mountain views, really comfy beds, nice bathroom. There’s a restaurant downstairs where the food is also nice when you want a quick breakfast before your day out. Puerto Banus and other areas are 10-15min Uber ride away, beach and restaurants and bars are all 7-8min walk away."

"hotel was excellent, staff friendly, rooms immaculate, pool area clean. bar and food inexpensive. would stay here again but there are roadworks and may be a bit precarious if not good on your feet. however not the hotels fault and would recommend staying here"
