We’ve stayed at other Home2 Suites before without any incidents, so it is with disappointment that I write this bad review. Knowing we were going to be late in checking in, I called ahead and requested late check=in to make sure they knew we’re coming and wouldn’t give our room away. Much to my dismay, when we got to hotel after a very long day at the park, we weren’t getting the room we requested (2 queen beds) and tried to give us one king bed. Apparently, that type of room had been overbooked. They offered to book us in the sister hotel across the street but we did not have a car and wouldn’t be able to move our luggage or get there. On top of that, the room they were going to place us in was a regular hotel room and not what we paid for. The other similar hotel was booked up. We had no choice but to stay at the hotel. We spoke with another guest who had a similar situation and overheard another guest who didn’t get clean towels he’s requested for two days. Not the agent’s fault as he relayed message to housekeeping.
Not only did we not get the room we purchased but I was paranoid about the cleanliness of the room.
Note the agent, Vishal, was working alone tonight and was wrought with issues from different guests. He remained calm and professional and tried his best to accommodate every issue. He didn’t fight me when I refused his offer or when I demanded that I’m not charged for room.
I would not stay here or recommend until management gets their act together.
