"Modern, well located hotel in a very good location with a very nice Chinese bistro restaurant (we had dinner but not breakfast). The rooms are very small, and they have absolutely no place to put your bags or belongings. There’s a small closet, but no ledge, counter or drawers, and not even space on the floor. They accidentally put us in an incorrect (corner) room but didn’t notice until after we had unpacked and had dinner. We had to move, which was inconvenient, but they offered no compensation at all — even taking away the breakfast vouchers they had previously given us from the other room. It left a bad taste, and the repetitive apologies just made us feel bad even though it was their error. "

"The Toyoko Inn is well located walking distance to the Osaka Castle and extensive castle grounds. The breakfast is excellent particularly if you like sushi, soups and cakes. "

"Dormy inn is preferred hotel chain to stay in Japan because it has a men/women onsen on-site (with popsicles or ice cream in the resting area), free ramen past dinner time, clean rooms and very friendly staff. The onsen room had a cold plunge, indoor hot onsen and an outdoor hot onsen tub. The change room had nice face moisturizers, combs, hair dryers, hair ties, and cotton pads that you can use. My room had two beds and the bedding was comfortable. Room was pretty clean too. You can request more pillows at the front counter. The washing machine and soap were free but the dryer requires coins so make sure you bring coins if you’d like to use the dryer. The lobby lounge has machines for: hot or cold water dispensers; and coffee machine for different styles of coffee. "
