Private onsen not worthwhile -- water very hot and space cramped. No after dinner option to socialize. Bar very limited and closes (hard close) at 9 pm. Upon asking what people do in the evening we were told-- Onsen (bathe)! It is not everyone's preference to take a hot bath after dinner."
