"I could not have been happier with our stay. Hotel was very pretty and the location was genuinely perfect…a quick walk over to Gion, right by the Kamo River, a block away from terrific shopping, close to Nishiki. Just outside is a beautiful canal with cherry blossoms(when in bloom). If you want the traditional Kyoto, it’s right there, the modern Kyoto, right there as well. Staff took care of all our needs. Of the four hotels we stayed at, this was one of the lesser ones in terms of warmness of the staff, but they were hyper competent, which made up for anything in that department."

Good facilities for laundry and although I didn't have breakfast in the restaurant, others in our group really enjoyed it. Located close to metro, good dining options and walk to central city."
