"A must stay for cruisers sailing out of Amsterdam and desire convenience...next door to terminal. Hotel is modern & clean. Our room & bath is ample and comfortable. The hotel restaurant is great for breakfast and the bar lounge offers a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. Many thanks."

"Excellent modern hotel in central Amsterdam n five minutes walk from central train station. It’s typical American style like a Sheraton. Not a lot of charm or character. Rooms are little small but perfectly comfortable for very expensive Amsterdam. Can walk to most places of interest in under thirty minutes. Recommend !"

"Had a very rude employee try to refuse to bring one extra pillow (we only had one each person to start) even after explaining I have medical problems & need to sleep sitting up. He was extremely rude & after finally agreeing to bring one up, he condescendingly brought up 3. I asked for ONE, I still can’t believe the way he treated us. He tried saying if every customer wanted TEN extra pillows they wouldn’t have any, again I asked for ONE MORE! There also are no phones in the rooms to call for anything at all, we were on the 13th floor so had to go down anytime we needed toilet paper or tissues or anything. It was very hot & there is no AC & windows do not open."

"Hotel Rho was a great base for our city‑break trip. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of everything, with easy access to bars, restaurants, and all the main sights. We stayed in a three‑person room, which was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our needs since we were out exploring most of the day and night. It gave us exactly what we needed: a solid place to crash and recharge. The breakfast buffet was a really nice surprise and great value. Plenty of options, fresh food, and a relaxed setup that made it easy to fuel up before heading out again. Overall, Hotel Rho delivered exactly what we were looking for: a clean, well‑located, good‑value spot for a fun weekend in Amsterdam."

"We stayed at the hotel last year and had a wonderful, spacious room with canal view. This year, I booked a regular room and was disappointed as soon as I opened the curtain to a view of vents and walls. The pool and hottub were both out of order, which is disappointing when you boik a5-star hotel and really look forward to a spa day. The staff was very nice, and I would recommend the restaurant. The Amrath is very conveniently located, 2 blocks away from Centraal and 3 blocks from the Red Light District. I would stay here again but book a room with a canal view."
