"Nice little boutique hotel away from the hustle, bustle and smog in convenient location. Hotel ticks all the boxes for us - free car park, free wifi with decent speed, clean, free simple breakfast with good variety, friendly and helpful staff. Only a few minutes easy walk to ferry terminal to go into Hamburg city - a good, cheap and convenient way of seeing the ports and harbour views. "Great breakfast, clean rooms, excellent location"

"Oberdeck is in a great location to explore Hamburg. It’s very close to transport, restaurants, and some great coffee. The apartment was compact but very clean and well equipped. The balcony is a great space. Our only issue was how hot it was upstairs in the bedroom even when it was cool downstairs and outside. A fan is supplied but it was still uncomfortable. The roof top deck is lovely. We would definitely stay again. "

"I chose this hotel because it is two minutes walk from Grosse Freiheit 36, a music venue. It's in the centre of the red light district, so expect - if you're a single man - to be repeatedly approached and grabbed for "business". It didn't bother me, but it might bother some, hence why I mention it. The hotel itself is excellent. Comfortable rooms and excellent staff - no complaints there whatsoever."
