Diana is lovely and knowledgeable about the area. The property is clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is ample and tasty. There are stairs to reach the rooms, no lift, but her son was able to carry our bags up.
No parking,no Aircon or Fan in room,No Dining Room, breakfast had to be eaten in kitchen close to sink and cooker,no communal lounge, very basic, shower had not been cleaned. This establishment not as advertised
,would not recommend to my worst enemy.Hence my wife and myself walked out we did not stay at all.
Stayed in here for the Oxford half marathon. The room was comfortable, leaving me well rested for the race. Diana was welcoming and helpful, providing a delicious breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend.
Lovely BnB Diana is very nice. Next morning she cooked a traditional full English breakfast. An option of vegetarian breakfast is also available. Close to bus route which is nice as hard to find parking in Centre of Oxford.
Diana was very helpful sending us area information and directions before we arrived. The location is convenient to catch a bus to the Centre or walk to Summertomn for a meal. Only comfortable pillows we found in three weeks in England. Diana prepared a delicious breakfast and accommodated gluten free for one of us. I would recommend Diana's as a good base to explore Oxford.
spent one night here whilst visiting our son at Oxford University. We were able to park our car outside the B&B and get a bus a few minutes walk away into Oxford the buses run every few minutes. The accommodation was warm and welcoming and our room was all that we wanted, Diana was a very good host and breakfast was lovely.
She was very nice, allowing us to check in early and leave our luggage in the room. When we came back that evening, we could not get the wi-fi to work (and therefore couldn't check in for our flight the next morning). No one was in the office and we didn't know which door was hers to see if she could fix it.
Single traveller on one night trip to oxford. Diana was accomodating when I arrived late - no fuss with rooms. Stayed in a single room - small but very comfortable. Everything clean and orderly. Great breakfast! Overall Diana's place is a great place to stay if you are going to oxford!
I wasn't able to arrive within the required check in time, unfortunately but Diana has a clever system for getting the key so I was able to let myself in and settled in my lovely room.
Only down points were the TV reception was very poor (could have been the horrendous weather!) and the room could do with a long mirror. Otherwise excellent stay and a great cooked breakfast in the morning.
Diana's B&B is on a direct bus route to the centre of Oxford and is very near a Park and Ride. Diana's 'getting there' instructions were very helpful. Our room was clean and bright, and bed was extremely comfortable. Diana was very welcoming and accommodating especially with regard to any dietary requirements and as to when we would like breakfast. Breakfast was extremely good. Would book again when visiting Oxford.
Very pleasant, comfortable and clean accommodation. Easy to find with Diana's instructions, and she was very flexible about booking in time, which helped us a lot. We had everything we needed, it was quiet - hardly any traffic noise as its in a side road. Breakfast very good, Diana was very pleasant company and informative about what is available to do in Oxford. Will go back again, definitely. Also on very good frequent bus route into Oxford which meant we didn't need to take the car in the evening when we went out to dinner!
