"Our stay was excellent in every way. Not only did the suite exceed our expectations, but the amenities did as well. The pool, sauna and rouladen blinds led up to the most restful sleep, which we needed. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfast - delightful. I highly recommend Agave in Città as the best place to start and each day of your vacation. "

"The property looks like it is very close to the train station on a map, but the reality is quite different. More than 1km away from the city, on the wrong side of the rail tracks in a dreadful location. The hotel is modern and very clean, but no hot water for a shower, either in the evening or morning is very poor for any star of hotel. When i mentioned upon checking out, the receptionist good careless. The restaurant is close, so is the gym and meeting rooms. Breakfast was to be a voucher for somewhere not exactly next door, or a box. Not delivered to the room. I chose to take mine away as I had an early check out. This 'bag' was not forthcoming coming after paying the city tax etc, I literally had to ask! I use hotels.com often and stay in Italy, often. I am used to a less than warm reception (which isn’t right) but this place was empty and the attitude was terrible. I won't be staying here again. "

"Well, on the positive side - the hotel is new, especially the bathroom. Big walk-in shower - no phone booth - and it has a closing door. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is very clean. It is well located in Livorno - close to everything. It is also very quiet from street noise, a hard thing to say is always the case in Italy."

"Fantastic place! Very clean, front desk staff great and helpful, and room wonderful- smallish but sufficient. Best aspect of hotel was location-frequent city bus to and from train station came down main road (via Grande) with stop near hotel."
