"We had a mixed experience during our stay. The hotel itself was pleasant, and the receptionist was kind. However, the cleanliness and housekeeping services could be improved. During our stay, items such as the drinking water bottle were not replenished, and used glasses were not consistently collected. The biggest issue we encountered was with the air conditioning. Before our arrival, we specifically contacted an Expedia representative to confirm that the hotel had functioning air conditioning, and we were assured that everything would be fine. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found that the hotel did not have air conditioning available. Additionally, the room was quite small and faced a street with frequent pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Because the room was too warm to sleep comfortably without air conditioning, we had to keep the windows open, which made it difficult to rest due to the noise. We were often awakened early in the morning because of this. Although we appreciated the pleasant service from the front desk upon arrival, we were disappointed that when we later requested a room change or asked to speak with a manager regarding the lack of air conditioning, we were told that nothing further could be done beyond reporting the issue to management. Unfortunately, we stayed for three nights without receiving any resolution or follow-up."

"Well stocked bar, just missing ginger ale. the rooms were excellent clean warm and welcoming (April) diddn't try the AC. The staff couldn't have been any nicer they always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble."

"We loved our stay! The area was super walkable. The hotel called taxis for us ASAP whenever we needed one. The room was spotless and modern. We ate at the restaurant on property 2 times. The rooftop pool had also just opened and had a beautiful view. We rented a car for two days and the parking garage was $20 a night, but extremely accessible and you’ll notice the price is not included because the area is extremely hard to park in if we didn’t have the amenity through the hotel. I would definitely tell a friend to stay there if they were visiting Mallorca and would book it again if we went back!"

"We loved the room, it was clean and well equipped. Breakfast every morning was amazing, with a cold “buffet” bar and hot food available made fresh to order. But the staff went above and beyond, even before we arrived. I needed a disposable taxi service which they helped organise, along with other restaurant recommendations. Their attention to detail during the stay was also amazing. Highly HIGHLY recommend Calatrava!"

"Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Was weird to have a (frosted) glass door from bedroom to bathroom/toilet, as the bedroom flooded with light if the bathroom was used - not ideal at night. Would have been more inconvenient had anyone been using the sofa bed in the lounge area, as bathroom access was via the bedroom. TV reception was not good, so we gave up watching the football! Overall, though, a great place to stay and we would recommend it to friends."
