"We really enjoyed our stay in this charming, authentic Italian home in the heart of Monopoli’s historic centre. The location cannot be beat — everything was within easy walking distance, including shops, restaurants, beaches and the train station. The home has lots of stairs and some very low ceilings, so tall guests will need to be mindful. The shower is also quite small, with a narrow entrance, so it may be challenging for larger guests. The kitchen is small but was perfectly adequate for the breakfasts we prepared. The bed was comfortable, and we really appreciated having a washing machine. Our host was kind, helpful and easy to reach whenever we had questions. The highlight for us was the beautiful roof deck. We enjoyed sitting up there several times — it’s comfortable, with a table and chairs and wonderful views. We loved the character of staying in an older, typical home of this area. There are a few quirks to be aware of, but the wonderful location, charming atmosphere and fantastic roof deck made for a memorable stay. We would happily return!"

"Very nice 3-night stay. Room was a good size and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the terrace overlooking the square, though a bit noisy in the evening with loud music from the square up to midnight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good restaurant though breakfast was in the restauarant next to the hotel where the menu was slightly limited but very pleasant outside in the sunshine."

"The room/apartment I was assigned to (4) was gorgeous, and very unique. I fell in love as soon as I entered. The owner was very accommodating although she was quite busy and obviously stressed. The breakfast at Komera was exceptional, and in a very nice setting. My only complaint was the a/c which barely functioned and required that I keep pressing jet mode every 15 minutes, and even that was inadequate. Classic LG junk. Sleep was not great because of that, and only that. There was no noise, whatsoever, and the location could not have been better."
