The Calypso Beach Resort East Tower – 3 BR 3 BA Condo 3 KING SIZE BEDS & Queen Sofa Sleeper All Tile Floors, Ocean Front 1/2 Block East of Pier Park. 9th Floor Corner Unit Large two sided balcony Sleeps 8 Comfortably Ocean Front .

The Master Suite has a KING size bed and is directly overlooking the water. It has balcony access and a large flat screen tv hanging on the wall. A beautiful private En-suite bathroom is attached. Equipped with a tile walk in shower with a shower panel tower.

The 2nd master bedroom has a King size bed and a window with Gulf front water view which is very unique. It also has a large flat screen tv hanging on the wall. A private bathroom is attached with a tile walk in shower.

The 3rd bedroom has a king size bed. A bathroom is attached with Jack & Jill access from the hallway and bedroom.

Living room has a Queen Sofa Sleeper.

A TOTAL OF 3 KING SIZE BEDS AND SOFA SLEEPER - WILL ALLOW IT TO COMFORTABLY SLEEP 8

There is travertine tile in all rooms, crown molding in the living/dining and kitchen area and granite kitchen counter tops.The open oversize balcony directly overlooking the water is big enough for your entire family and friends.

Seabreeze Jazz Festival

The condo was very nice and close to the event @ Pier Park. The only drawbacks were:Master Shower (Left Shower) had no cold water Master Shower (Right Shower) the shower wand was cracked and therefore had low water pressure but it had cold water & hot water. Couldn’t find additional trash bags Overall, I would stay there again for sure.

Beautiful sunsets

It was good. The master bath should have some instructions on how to use shower. The check out time was at 9 which we didn't like when you can't check in until 4. The heated pool was too cold. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and stay but thought I should provide some things to consider to make it better.

Col fixes would make it better. Ceiling fans not wired correctly, master shower not working correctly at me side was hot water only. First bedroom toilet whined. Overall excellent would stay again

Spring break

Dryer doesn’t dry well. Ice maker in fridge makes a clicking noise at random. Couldn’t figure it out. No remote for the light in the bedroom with jack n Jill bathroom. Everything else was great!!

Long-time Calypso Visitor

We've stayed at Calypso Towers for many years, this being the first time in Tower 1. Other than malfunctioning Tower 1 elevators during check-in, everything was good. Can't say we are all that happy with the new beach chairs but it is what it is.

Not cleaned properly!! Needed to be better maintained.

Floors were filthy. We spent the first morning scrubbing floors. The finish on both the kitchen and bathroom cabinets was peeling. A panel on the kitchen cabinet was missing. Found it under the sink and replaced it. Weather was excellent.Enjoyed the location. Did miss having a hot tub! Pool area was nice.

The pictures of the property made it seem so nice but I would not stay in this unit again. The floors were filthy! My grandson was crawling around and within 10 minutes his knees and hands were black! So I bought a swiffer and mopped the floors. There were areas on the floor that I thought were permanently stained but came right up when I mopped them. Which tells me the floors were not cleaned before our arrival. The washer and dryer were old. The washer didn’t clean the clothes well and we had to run the dryer multiple times to dry the clothes. The shower on the master suite was beautiful but it was but hard to use. It contained two shower heads and one was scolding hot water! I think it got to over 120 degrees! We had to switch to just using the one that did not get as hot. We left messages for assistance but no one responded to us. One of the bathroom sinks was continually clogged up. The celing fans didn’t work. The kitchen cabinets were dirty and I wiped those down. There were boogers all over the master bathroom wall with the toilet so I had to clean that off as well. Overall, this unit was not as nice as I excepted and am use to.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was great. Shower in the master bedroom was great. Bedding not so good. No hairdryers in any of the 3 bathrooms. 3 bedrooms with king beds but only one wine glass in the condo. Wal Mart visit is needed to update the things needed in the kitchen. The deck chairs lacked a lot. Made of plastic and might have cost $15 each. When pool side looking at the other condos, this was the worst deck by far.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a great place to stay. We only had 1 issue and that was upon arrival the floors had not been swept or mopped. If you took your shoes off your feet would be black. We called the rental company and they promptly returned our call and sent their cleaning crew out the next day. However, we had already went and bought a mop and took care of the floors. The smaller bedroom had about 6 inches of dust on the valance which we didn’t mention we simply bought a swiffer duster and took care of it. Other than those housekeeping issues it was great.

Great location but needs some attention

The view is fantastic and it’s very comfortable. For the money you get an updated look but that’s it. Don’t plan to watch local tv or much of nothing else unless you take your own Roku, Apple TV, or Fire Stick or an HDMI cable to watch from your own game system or laptop. They provide a very nice Direct TV guide but yet they don’t have that service. When you go to the grocery plan to buy everything including dish soap and garbage bags—it is stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Buy cleaning supplies in case our complaints on how dirty things were fell on deaf ears—cabinets, baseboards, bathrooms… The dishwasher was still dirty with dirty dishes in it. The garbage disposal doesn’t work. The middle bedroom walk-in shower water pressure is very weak and lukewarm at best.

One problem I have with this resort is the pool closed everyday it seemed for lighting even if it was way 20 30 miles away even inland so that was disappointing I know it’s some safety but my goodness it was silly when other resorts up the beach was still in the pool wasn’t happy about that

We're Already Planning Our Next Stay!

The Calypso 3BR/3BR 9th floor end unit condo was fantastic! Unit was big, roomy, and had a great view. The shower in the master bath was amazing! The location couldn't be beat, as it's walking distance to the pier and all of the restaurants, attractions, and shops in Pier Park. The only criticism we had was that the deck furniture out consisted of a few plastic chairs, a couple tall chairs, and a single small table. Nicer, more comfortable deck furniture would have made our time on the balcony more enjoyable. The fabric sofa and swivel chairs were a bit out of place, given the fancier appearance of the condo. The Emerald Coast hosts were great to work with. They were easy to contact, responsive, and accommodating. We'll definitely stay here again!

AMAZING Ocean views!

Amazing ocean views! Beautiful corner room with plenty of living space to enjoy a comfortable stay. Balcony was perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. 3 large king size bedrooms with connecting bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay for 3 adults. Living room was large and has a giant tv! Room was very clean and maintained well. Kitchen was equipped with all basic needs. Beach toys provided was a plus. Pool was a dream! You can sit on the pool deck and enjoy the ocean views. In the evening, we loved the bonfire. Very close to Pier Park for restaurants and shopping. Overall an awesome stay! We loved it!

Great location! Everything is within walking distance. Property is spacious and quickly felt like home. A few things worth mentioning: needs new mattresses and duvet covers, needs a deep cleaning, does not provide beach/pool towels, does not provide salt & pepper. Overall, great property and we would stay here again.
