  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Disappointed

We love Edgewater as we go every year. That said, this unit was the worst kept I've seen in years going here. There was sand on table tops and counters, a hole in the wall behind the door, the hallway bathroom's tub is almost fully clogged, washer was full of water and didn't work, the coffee table has a loose leg to watch out for, and one of the dining chairs had a loose leg that gave out under my 5 year old son sitting in it causing him to get hurt. They were told of each of these and nothing was dlne to fix any of it and no actions or partial refund to make up for the stay. When notified my son was hurt, I was sent an incident report as an apology. Not once asked how he was. 3 stars overall ONLY because of the resort, not for the condo.
