The location is awesome and was only a 15 minute bus ride from Eursostar. It is also near Moulin Rouge and the (from what I've been told) funky, East London vibe that is Pigalle. So many restaurants around and the over area was pretty cool. The room itself was clean and had the basics. Please note, it doesn't have a fridge but has your coffee facilities. I was on the second floor and with all doors closed, I found it quite noisy from the traffic outside (I was street facing). Also, you could hear house keeping quite early so the walls must be thin...? I literally needed space to sleep for the night so I'd stay again for convenience and location.

This part of Paris is known for being comparitively disappointing to the international traveller, in terms of the quality of hotel rooms, but Grand Hotel de Turin was a very beer-priced and comfortable hotel, only a couple of minutes walk from the nightlife and sights of Pigalle and Montmartre, as well as Metro stations, so is perfect for a budget-conscious stopover in old Paris. The room was basic, but clean, serviced, and practical. I always miss having a refrigerator in hotel rooms, but this is common in this part of the world. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the included simple continental breakfast of pastries, was well presented and welcome.
