Don’t let Hotels.com trick you into thinking hotel

Disappointing. Not on a great street, did not feel comfortable walking at night, restaurants were ok not very good and no food or drinks or lobby at hotel. You walked in and had to go to room. Status very windy and narrow. Reminded me of the Holiday Inns. Would not stay there or recommend to anyone. Cabs had no idea where it was.

Hotel was a short block from the Louvre.It is a bit dated and in need of refurbishing. Beds are extremely comfortable and Bed linens lovely. The towels were a little on the thin side. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Hotel is located within walking distance to Louvre. Area is full of restaurants. The hotel is small and on the old side. Our room said balcony but is was a metal emergency staircase. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast excellent.

The location is great, you can walk to the Louvre in under 10 minutes. There are shops and bakeries next to and all around The hotel itself is very dated. But the bathroom was spacious and had great bath products. Beds/bedtoom were average

The staff were helpful but a little distracted when we arrived. The room was clean, compact, had everything we needed. Water in shower was warm but never quite hot enough. Overall we had a good experience at this hotel, very close to everything including 7 min walk from Les Halles Station, great Bon&Mie bakery nearby, easy to get to and a great location for exploring Paris.

I give this property 2 stars for its location and friendly staff. However, this in no way is a 4 star hotel. Upon arrival, we were met with a broken air conditioning system and had to sleep with a fan and the windows open. Although we stayed in mid-May and the nighttime temperatures were mild, that was not the case during the day. Plus, the sunlight and noise from the street did not make for a restful night sleep after a long international flight. The next day we were moved to another room. The rooms size, although large, had dirty rugs. The bathrooms shower and sink did not drain properly causing water to pool while showering. Light in bathroom broken on one side. Also, on the last two days, the elevator was broken requiring one to use the stairs. I would not recommend this hotel! There are many more hotels in the area worth the 4 star rating and the high price, and this isn’t one of them.

Our flight was cancelled, and we had no way of getting to Paris to make our reservation. We contacted the property, hoping for some understanding and flexibility, as this was a situation completely out of our control. Unfortunately, they stopped responding to our messages. When my husband called, they said they would speak to management and get back to us shortly—but we never heard from them again. Three days later, they charged us in full without providing a receipt or any prior warning. While I understand that policies are in place, we were hoping for a bit more empathy and perhaps an exception in the form of a credit or refund. Just a word of caution: if your flight is cancelled or you experience any disruptions to your trip, don’t count on flexibility from this property.

It was a very convenient location. Wish there had been window screens, as it was too warm in the room for our liking and we kept the windows open at night Also, the Nespresso machine was a piece of junk. Much better to have just had a hot water kettle. I had to go to Darty to buy one. A friend came to pick us up and wait in the lobby, and the front receptionist was very rude to her, and wouldn't let her in until I called. All in all, ok, but would choose elsewhere when we come next year.
