The two best things about the hotel are the staff and the LOCATION. It is perfectly situated across the street from Gare du Nord. Multiple transportation options!! The people were very helpful. The condition of the building and the rooms is not ideal.

The room (when we could get in it) was clean and actually a very nice size room away from the noise of the front of the hotel. Bathroom was large and clean but soap dispenser for handwash and shower were not working. But we had plenty of towels and water was hot so room was good. There is air conditioning but we did not use. The Breakfast is in the next door hotel which is round the corner. It is a very small area with only one person doing breakfast so lots of used dishes on tables and a wait to get clean dishes and cups. The area is very small but the breakfast provided was adequate for what we expected so have no complaints about the food options and drinks. We had issue with the room entrance key so the staff were very frustrated by us and were not communicating with us. Plus the staff do not seem to relay messages to each other as every person we met on reception we had to explain the situation again

The hotel was very convenient for Gare du Nord, Paris and it was clean. The room and bathroom were spacious and there was a lift. However, for a "superior double", it was very basic. There was no feeling of luxury, there were no tea or coffee making facilities and there was only one small pillow each. We did not have breakfast.

We booked here because it was across from Gare de nord and we were catching the Eurostar. This is not a fancy hotel and no extras but what you pay you get a clean comfortable room and a very nice renovated bathroom. There is a small elevator and there are many places to eat nearby. We stayed somewhere else when we visited Paris and I wish we had stayed here it is a lot closer to everything than we were. I would definitely stay here again.
