  • Summary:

    Ideally located flat in the heart of Paris, modern, elegant, fully equipped and air-conditioned (portable air conditioners) Halfway between the rue Montorgueil, the Place des Victoires, the Marais district and the Beaubourg centre, you are surrounded by trendy cafés and restaurants. My accommodation is ideal for a successful stay with family or friends.



    The Space:

    Flat of 39m2 which includes:



    - Air conditioning throughout the flat (portable AC)

    - Living room with sofa bed, coffee table, 1 table with chairs, Smart TV, Wifi

    - A balcony with a table and chairs

    - A fully equipped kitchen (hotplates, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, washing machine)

    - 1 bedroom with double bed

    - 1 bathroom with shower with toilet



    The cleaning fee includes clean sheets and towels for each guest and the cleaning is carried out by a professional cleaning agent.

Just a stone's throw from the Grands Boulevards, the mythical address of the most famous Parisian theatres and the rue Montorgueil, a famous pedestrian street known for its many lively cafés and restaurants, the rue Etienne Marcel and the Place des Victoires. Located halfway between the Opéra Garnier, the department stores and the Place de la République, my accommodation is also a 5-minute walk from the historic Marais district and the Beaubourg Centre. Unmissable and central location for an unforgettable stay in Paris.

In warm weather, NOT RECOMMENDED. The listing says "portable air conditioner" but fails to mention that the AC is not set up correctly. You only learn this upon arrival at the apartment, after you've paid the fee. My misfortune was to arrive in the midst of a severe Paris heat wave, only to discover that, in the absence of windows opening to the outside, the owner had extended the exhaust hose from one portable AC through an OPEN glass door to the small terrace beyond. When I objected that this would let all the hot air from outside INTO the room, the owner said that leaving the door open was the only way the AC would work and that I should close the curtains around it to "keep the cool air in." Despite his advice, when I went into the bedroom I discovered that the second portable AC had no exhaust hose attached and the door that opened to the terrace was closed. When I extended my hand behind the AC I felt a stream of hot air venting into the room! I told the owner this arrangement was unacceptable, especially on a 93 degree day, and left the apartment immediately. I found a hotel nearby, but the owner and his company, Studio Prestige. have continued to reject my demands for a refund, maintaining that the ACs were working properly. I have disputed this transaction with VRBO and the issuer of my credit card, and the outcome is still pending.
