I loved this apartment! Claudine met us on arrival and explained the apartment and the location. She left us with coffee, tea, bottled water and cookies to sweeten our stay. There are plenty of places to purchase the necessities. we found a sweet area with outdoor market and cafes that were very local. you are a 9 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe where you can catch the metro and a bus stop is at the corner.. We will return. This is a perfect spot and the apartment is spacious.

Beautiful apartment in Ternes

This was a fantastic first stop for us in Paris. The spacious apartment was fully renovated and ideally located to explore the city. Claudine was a welcome host with great communication. Highly recommended!

Salut à Claudine

Claudine is a thoughtful host. Example: two umbrellas for guests. Her apartment is tastefully renovated, furnished and quiet. Neighborhood is terrific with a daily (x Monday) Poncelet food market and many Michelin one star restaurants nearby.

Paris Highlights

Wonderful apt in the 17th arrondissement! Location was central to everything. Metro, buses & walking distance to all (3 miles max). Markets, shops, restaurants everything you need. Arc de Triomphe & Champs Élysée are at the end of the road! Clean, spacious for 2, everything you need. The road is busy/loud, but we were not there much, w the window shut,in the bedroom it was fine. Would 100% recommend! Claudine was very responsive and lovely,

Brilliant find

Great apartment well situated for us. We stayed with teens & found it easy to get to all the touristy things we wanted to do as we didn’t want to stay in an area just with other tourists! We enjoyed the local area with great supermarket & market options as well as cafes etc. Claudine was great with her communication. The only hiccup we had was not understanding the correct front door code number but a local / building tenant helped us out!!!

A wonderful experience in the 8th

From the moment we checked in until the day we departed Madame Labat provided a wonderful experience. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and cozy. Madame Labat responded promptly to any questions. If really felt like being a temporary local resident in Paris. The neighborhood is great with quick access to the Metro and the Palais de Congres. Can’t wait to come back!! Thank you Madame.

A Paris retreat- truly a home away from home!

The apartment could not have been better. The location was perfect for a walk to the Arc De Triomphe, restaurants, my conference at the Palais or a slightly longer walk to the Seine. Also very easy access by RER B and then A from CGD airport. Beyond access, was the wonderful comfort of the apartment- lovely linens, comfy couches and chairs and soaker tub! The kitchen felt like home and was stocked with anything we could need.I look forward to returning to Paris and to this home away from home. By the way, the apartment was roomier than expected by photos and description.

Convenient and tastefully decorated apartment

We stayed as a family with 2 teenage children . Well equipped Propery and short 10 min walk to 2 metro lines and Arc de Triumphe .Claudine was very helpful . Accomodation has a double bed and sofa bed - with fully grown kids the sofa bed is not comfortable - would be ok for smaller kids . Would also benefit from a lined curtain in the living room - otherwise pack eye covers for sleeping . Thankyou for a wonderful stay .

Lovely, cozy apartment. Clean and well stocked. We were late and Claudine’s son waited to let us in and give us a tour which was great. Great location. We are walkers so we’re able to visit all the sights and explore the city. Fantastic vacation!! Only negative was that the front of the building was covered with scaffolding for repairs. One of my must haves for the vacation was a little wrought iron railing looking into a street so that was disappointing for me. Overall was great and we’d definitely go back.

Spacious apartment near Arc de Triomphe

The apartment was perfect to give us plenty of space and a great location to retreat to after a full day of tours in Paris. Ubers are readily available and a taxi stand is right across the street to help with longer distances to get to. However, you can walk to many of the attractions of Paris from this location. The Louvre and Notre Dame were two of the furthest away which was only about 2.5 miles of walking across Paris streets. It is a great way to see the city. This was a great place and Claudin was fantastic to work with and very accommodating for our travel needs. The apartment has been upgraded and is well worth it. Very secure building. We loved it!

LOVED CLAUDINE'S PLACE-STYLISH AND COMFORTABLE

I just can't say enough about Claudine's beautiful apartment. It was so comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay! I loved the location, just a quick walk to two different metros one being a central hub where you can catch the train and multiple lines. The 17th is where I first dropped my daughter off for school and where she had an apartment just a few streets over from Claudine's place so it was so fun to be back in this familiar neighborhood, close to Monoprix (similar to a Target in the US), favorite restaurants a wonderful outdoor market and a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe. Her home had fantastic water pressure, plenty of hot water and a separate shower apart from the most amazing soaking tub. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in and it was so nice to have a formal living room apart from the kitchen so you had room to spread out. Her communication was wonderful and we had no issues at all. This will be our first choice to stay when we come back to visit our daughter at school!

Charming apartment in great location

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It is only one flight up so easily accessible and there is an elevator for luggage. The apartment has a very large bedroom and bathroom compared to most European apartments with a toilet and sink separate from the bathroom with shower, standalone bathtub and sink with a large shelf and drawer for cosmetics. The kitchen is compact but very usable. We ate many of our mails here. The decor is very charming and the place was immaculately clean. The host was very helpful and responsive to our questions. There are many restaurants and food shops within easy walking distance and several subway stations for different subway lines within walking distance. The Arc de Triomphe and the beginning of the Champs Elysee are only a couple of blocks away. We would happily stay here again if we come back to Paris.

A good place that could be easily better

Place is cozy, comfortable as the layout is concerned, and well placed wrt the city amenities. A few shortcomings makes it less appreciable then it could be. The street in front is very noisy because of the traffic, in such a measure that it's mandatory to keep the windows closed. Lack of air conditioning, together with previous point, is unforgivable with peak summer temperature in the 30ties. The slippery shower floor is bound to create serious problems, particularly because you are tempted to overstay in the confortable shower cabinet. In summary a good attempt to provide care and confort, severely frustrated by the mentioned pitfalls. Giandomenico from Italy staying there with wife and grandson. Regards

Amazing host with a great property

Claudine, the host, is amazing. Communication was outstanding. She was overly accommodating to our needs. We had a passport issue that caused a two-day delay to our check-in, she was understanding and made multiple accommodations to ensure we felt welcomed. Even after she continues to be professional and understanding, even though we accidentally damaged a towel during our stay. The property was perfect. Clean, stocked, and secure. Two "not so great" items I would be remiss in not calling out. Though neither are really the host's fault. 1. Contruction started at 8:30 am prompt every day. Normally I wouldn't mention it, but it was right outside the bath and bedroom windows. While the bathroom window has a privacy "tint" on it, it's a little disconcerting to see workers hands literally on the window, hearing them talking, and smelling their cigarette smoke. (yes, they were that close). The construction noise was understandable (sawing, drilling, chiseling) as it's a classic building. It just would have been nice to have been informed that there was construction planned for the time of our stay. 2. The neighbors, or someone, played music until 4 am multiple days during our stay. While I get it was the holidays, and while not enough to cause us to go to a hotel, hearing the same bass beat for hours was a little annoying. Luckily, we knew we had to get up and leave at 8 to avoid the construction noise 😊 so there's that. Again, neither were Claudine's fault.

Fabulous stay in Paris

This is our third time to Paris and this apartment was one of the best we stayed in. The location was very central and close to the metro for easy commuting. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like home. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect Paris Stay

We had the best stay in Paris! Claudine’s apartment is beautiful and in the most convenient neighborhood. We found it easy to catch taxis or jump on the Metro to get to all of Paris’s sites! We loved all the conveniences of cafes, boutiques, stores all right there! The apartment was so clean and it had exactly what we needed! Claudine was an excellent hostess. She answered all our questions quickly!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Paris Apartment!

Cute place and good location

Claudine meet us at the apartment even dough we were 2 hours delayed thanks to a delayed with the airline taking us to Paris from DC, USA. She had for us some donuts and water bottles waiting, thank you Claudine, that was very nice of you. The apartment is located about 12 minutes walk from the Arc of Triumph, and near many restaurants and other business near by. Great place and a great location.

Great location convenient to access transportation, the Metro subway and bus stops. Great food choices in neighborhood area. Grocery and Pharmacies nearby. I made a dinner to eat in a couple of nights and kept granola & milk for quick breakfast. Coffee pods and machine easy and quick to use. We took the train for day trip to Versailles and walked the enchanting Montmartre up to the Sacre Coeur cathedral.

Arc de Triomphe monument. Tickets at base of the monument to use stairs for access to top for great views and history.

Beef bourguignon, a hearty comforting French food dish.
