Very clean and easy check in/out. Room was pretty spacious for Paris at the applicable price level. Temperature level in the shower was a bit temperamental (towards hot).
Great staff and location very central. Spacious apartment for Paris area.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Small room with comfortable bed. Bathroom needs to be refurbished. Public spaces limited and bar was not operational. This is a well located hotel, but really only offers a bed, and nothing else. Breakfast was below average.
Exceptional front desk staff: Greeted throughout stay, Consistently checking in with us to see how we were and if we needed assistance with anything in Paris. Breakfast was wonderful and as well as breakfast service.
Wonderful stay! Our room was a good size with a nice balcony! The staff was welcoming and helpful. The location was very good, easy walk to restaurants, shopping and transportation.
Clean, spacious room. Matress very comfortable for my bad back
Was central to Paris attractions, and close to Champs- Wlyswe, Arc de Tipmph. Clo a e to ma y cafes and bistros.
Enjoyed my stay. Staff was extremely friendly helpful
Walking distance to attractions/restaurants. Perfect location for my first time. Felt extremely safe walking around by myself at night
It is not central, but we could walk to most tourist locations. Everything is a walk in Paris.
We recommend getting the breakfast package. It was the same every morning, but it was also delicious, and there were many options to change it up.
Our only challenge was getting three instead of just the two towels. Minor and sometimes entertaining.
It is an older property, but we were always comfortable.
We would recommend staying.
I would like to say first, I absolutely loved my entire stay at the hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was very accommodating. Especially Juan (very special thank you!) whom was very courteous, professional and extremely helpful towards me as well as my friends and family whom also stayed at the hotel. At first, my room was not ready. However, Juan made sure that I did not have to wait after a long flight, and he immediately upgraded me without hesitation. The room (#432) was amazing and had everything I could've ever asked for. I will be returning to Paris in October and my preference is to only stay at this hotel. Also, I will be recommending others whom will be joining me to stay here as well. Lastly, I'd like to give another very special "Thank You" to Mani who works in the restaurant. She took very good care of me and my friends while we were there. Everyone at the hotel was awesome but, again, very special "Thank You" to both Juan and Mani.
Best Regards,
John Reid

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Despite its 4-star claim, my experience at this hotel fell far below expectations. Upon arrival, there was no assistance with luggage, and staff provided minimal guidance when asked for help. The room lacked basic amenities—there was no refrigerator, the water had a strong sulfur smell, and the air conditioning did not work. The television was outdated, and the remote was nonfunctional. Additionally, there was ongoing construction directly in front of the property, making it difficult to rest. No room service was available, and even simple requests (such as a bottle opener) could not be accommodated. The bathroom was unclean with grime in the shower.
Considering the price and advertised rating, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I decided against a longer stay and moved to a nearby 3-star hotel just ten minutes away, which offered a far superior stay: they sent a car for pickup, handled all my luggage, provided snacks upon arrival, and offered modern amenities including a smart TV, working fridge, and reliable working air conditioning that cooled the room. The staff there were genuinely welcoming, and the room was both cleaner and more comfortable—all at half the price I paid at Royal Garden.
In my opinion, Royal Garden’s rating and pricing are not justified. I left feeling misled and dissatisfied with the value and service provided. I do believe I was scammed. I have been treated better at American Motels.
The 2 bed room apartment with sitting area and patio was ideal for us and our two teenage boys. The lobby and bar area was cool although we never saw any one there having a drink. The room was unfortunately not ready for the 3pm check in time which was disappointing since we arrived from Canada overnight and landed at 10am. It was only when we went to the reception to ask that they gave us a room, after much discussion in French between them that we did not understand. We were in our room after 3:30pm.
We also asked if breakfast was included and they said it was not- price was $22 euro. So we went to a local cafe the first couple of days.
The third day we went to the hotel cafe and it turns out it was included which obviously would have been good to know prior.
Overall a nice place but service could be better. The price we paid was very high due to the overlap with the Olympics.
We stay at the hotel once or twice a year when we visit Paris. Paris is like a second home to us and so is the hotel. We enjoy our stays there immensely. It meet all our needs and we chances our visit to Paris.
The staff are warm, welcoming and make every effort to make you feel comfortable (they even let us check in early after flight changes!). The rooms are pleasant, clean and the bed is very comfortable.
The location is prime for walking and exploring the city. The arc de triomphe is a short walk away and the rest of the city is accessible by Metro.
Thanks for taking care of us!
