Sweet

I was upset that you have to take stairs to get to the elevator. When advertising a lift/elevator the stairs should also be mentioned. Outside of the stairs everything was fine.

Disliked: Amenities

I was nervous booking a small 3 star hotel in Paris due to poor previous experiences. Sweet Hotel was a lovely and reassuring surprise. That is to say, what I could expect from a 3 star hotel in the city was there: relatively easy to get to, cleanliness, working shower and toilet, clean towel, and WiFi that worked (unlike the claims made by similar hotels that don't actually have a working WiFi and deceive patrons). Of course, things were basic and the room small, but so what if you are only there for a couple of nights. Next time I am back in the city, I will try to book there again. The only drawback was, with one exception, a generally surly, unsmiling, and unhelpful staff. The lady working on the Sunday morning (30 June) was delightful and actually knows how to smile. The others, less so. Anyway, the hotel comes with my recommendation and I wish any future patron a wonderful stay.
