My third or fourth time staying at this place. Still fully enjoying it :) Confortable beds, clean showers and decent facilities. Nice and cosy bar downstairs, where you can also enjoy a nice and affordable breakfast in the morning. The location is probably not the best, but there's a subway station not far from the hostel, so it makes it easy to access the city center. Go for it !

Fantastic hostel for a solo female traveller! Cannot recommend enough. Location is a little removed from the main tourist areas. Personally, that wasn't an issue for me but it's definitely something to consider if that's important to you. Even if it is, there are two metro stations within a block of the hostel! I would highly recommend staying here when you come to Paris!

더피플 마레랑 오지게 비교하다가 여기로 골랐는데 위치는 11호선이나 3호선?타고 중앙까지 바로 갈 수 있어서 낫배드하고요 밤 11시좀 넘어서 다녀도 크게 위험한 느낌은 없었는데 역앞에 노숙하는 사람은 좀 있어요 샤워기가 5초마다 꺼지는 그 짜증나는 샤워기 아니라서 진짜 마음에 들었고요 해바라기랑 코브라 샤워기 둘다 있고 샤워부스 상태는 나쁘지 않아요 그리고 화장실에 드라이기 비치되어 있어요 호스텔 치고 비싸긴 한데 파리 숙박비가 다 이모양이라서 그냥 납득하렵니다 앞에 Franprix 있어요! 칸막이에 커튼달려있어요~

People who say that it is in the middle of nowhere need their head examined. Yes it isn't next to the Eiffel Tower, but not everything in Paris is near each other, in fact most things aren't! The bar on the first floor seems to have a bit of a cult following, with regulars coming in that are always good to give advise on what to do or see. Only thing to criticise is probably the second bunk being too high, the lockers should be moved from being under the bottom bunk, and both bunks lowered. If I am ever transiting through Paris again, I'd definitely consider revisiting.

A 20-30 min ride to the city. Not many amenities are included and you’re charged for everything. I did not love the social atmosphere.

The staff is good, very helpful. Bed is comfy. I think though I am not a hostel kind of person anymore. Used to be a go to when I was travelling but I will think again for next trips (the rest of my bookings are not in hostels). I know I should not expect to sleep well in a dormitory but still, being woken up at 1am to 2am is not very nice (mostly in jetlag). I could have chosen something better for jetlag but I was looking for a cheap accommodation for my first night. And it is no longer that of a cheap option! Thank you.

Spent 2 nights here, and in between I woke to find about 12 bug bites on my arm/neck. I know that they are bug bites, as I am allergic to bug bites, and now they have swollen the size of half dollar coins. Seeing how they were in a line and how itchy they were, I'm guessing bed bugs. I'm thinking it had to do with my pillow, seeing as how there was a blood stain on it and had to request a new one...

The staff were not friendly at all. The location is very dangerous. Some one tried to mug me but I escaped. The area is very shady in general. Though the rooma were clean and the beds had some privacy

Nice hostel.
This is nice hostel with a bar downstairs. The room (6 bed female dorm) was pretty small and dark but it was clean. Although it was only on the first floor above the bar, it wasn't noisy at all. Beds are allocated and I was allocated a top bunk. I don't usually mind upper bunks but the top bunk here is very high up, which I didn't like. I don't know why it was so high as these are 2-up bunks, not 3-up. The breakfast was simple but nice. I think it's pretty good value as you can choose from 3€ to 9€ breakfasts.

Loved the staff at Les Piaules. They were all very nice and helpful. I enjoyed the Jam sesh night that they had one night I was there. Love the vibe in the hostel too. It's a little out of the city center but very close to the metro. The beds are super comfy and you get a good blanket (comforter). But I love the curtain that each bunk has. Adds a little bit of privacy for a small room. The only downside was the hairdryer in our bathroom wasn't working properly. Overall, loved this place and would come back!

Cons-No early check in, horrible area/watched a fist fight happen right across street from hostel during day time, cost 4 euros for use of locker before or after check in, 2 euros for a towel, Maids try to get you to get up and check out before noon because they are trying to make the rooms for the next guest. Pros - good shower and cheap in comparison to other hostel/hotels Overall it’s more like a hotel who’s main goal is to make money and that is all. There is no hostel atmosphere at all, mostly locals in the bar area which do not converse with hostel guest.

The staff very friendly, and helpful all the time. The bathroom always clean, the bunk bed has privacy with the curtains. Its a good place for short stays. I will def come back. The metro is really close which makes easier to visit the most touristic places in Paris, and also the airport.

beds were great with a privacy curtain. rooms had plenty of space for luggage. everything was modern and clean. bathrooms were never too busy always a shower available. rooftop terrace had a food view of the eiffel tower. the bar downstairs is a great way to end a day of exploring. locals also hang out at the bar/cafe downstairs so thats a plus. and all the staff is so helpful. very centrally located near to metro stops. overall great hostel.

Everything is perfect. I arrived early and SUPER tired and them helped me with an early check in. The beds are super comfy, the curtains are a plus. The bathroom is super clean. They just have to change the hair dryer because it doesn’t work but even like this is perfect. The bar is perfect, the Metro station is close. And I met lovely friends there. It was my first time in a Hostel and I was by my own and I cannot be more grateful for choosing them. Thanks!!!

Favorite place to stay when visiting Paris. The staff is excellent and always willing to help with any questions you may have. The rooms are clean and modern. Love the curtains for added privacy. There is no kitchen but no worries as there are plenty of cheap eats in the area. The metro is a short walk and you are in all the tourist spots within minutes. Neighborhood is relatively safe. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris on a budget!

This hostel was nice. Not in the pretty part of town but I felt mostly safe. A block away from two different metro stations on either side. Staff was friendly and it was clean enough. Didn’t meet many people to talk to (many French speakers) but the lobby was always filled with people chilling and having a drink or reading. I also enjoyed their jazz night.
