Perfect location and vibe for our stay in Paris. Very close to the metro at a main station so it was super easy to get to and from Gare du Nord and l’Est. Just a few stops away from many of the main sites or if you want to go further east for a change of pace and restaurants. The neighborhood was buzzing, comfortable and walkable. There are lots of restaurants and great boulangeries nearby. The apartment was comfortable and offered all the amenities we needed. The large windows open to the ally and let in light and air. The living room was the space we needed to relax after lots of walking. Plenty of seating and the couches were comfortable. If you aren’t used to the city sounds, it can be fairly loud later at night with the windows open. There’s no air conditioner but with the windows open and fan, it was quite nice in September. It would have been too hot with the windows closed though, so trade sound for temperature depending on the season. The rooms and beds were comfortable too. I wouldn’t say it was luxury (from the listing) but there were renovations and fun details which were nice. I 100% recommend this location.
