"House is clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything we need. Water pressure and temperature in all bathroom are perfect. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "It was our first time staying at Glenholme, and it certainly won’t be our last. The landlady, Glen, gave us a very warm welcome and was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The room featured an excellent complimentary tray that was extremely generous, along with a lovely rainforest shower. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choices, and having private parking on-site was a huge plus. All in all, this is a wonderful bed and breakfast that we highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Kendal!"

"A beautifully converted and newly modernised old farmhouse, in the peace and quiet of the idyllic Lake District countryside. Very well laid out with everything you could possibly need - and more - for a self-catered stay! Spacious, clean, comfortable, fabulous kitchen, cosy living room, good sized bedrooms, powerful showers, plenty of hot water - a home from home!We had a super weekend, with wider family members staying in the adjacent cottage, would definitely visit again if the occasion arrose. Highly recommend to anyone who'd love to stay on a farm on a hill, with some very adorable sheep!"

The pillows were too firm and thick, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Overall, a lovely place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others!"
