"We had relatives visiting from Canada and used this opportunity to have all the families get together for some time in the Valley. Kids loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the food and wines available near by. The accomodation allowed us all to eat an evening meal together from the bar-b-que. The wildlife was a treat to all."

"We booked all the villas and the main retreat. The villas were clean and spacious, beds comfy and all amenities provided for. They welcomed us with a bottle of Peter Drayton wines which we enjoyed immensely. The grounds and the estate were lovely to take a stroll in. The retreat house is located a bit further away from the villas and is about a 6 minute walk. The house is definitely older than the villas, but also clean and spacious. Chateau Elan At The Vintage

"Chateau Elan is an excellent place to stay. Grounds are immaculate, staff cannot do enough for you and the spa is wonderful. We stayed in the spa suites, they are nice but can be a bit noisy. We previously stayed in the villa studio and prefer that room. The restaurants are very good and restaurant staff are so kind. We had spa treatments and they were excellent. Staff at the spa will ensure you are happy and comfortable. We will definitely return to the chateau!"

"We had an amazing stay at The Lane Retreat! Large room, quiet, perfectly located. The breakfast amenities in the room were healthy and adequate. The Pantry store on site was great for morning coffee. We stayed 2 nights and booked a room each. Great place to reset and relax after a day of wine tasting. The room just needed a vacuum, but otherwise the facilities were delightful. "
