"We loved our stay here. The home is spacious & well kept, & in a good central location to many of the places we wanted to visit along the coast. Ernesto the caretaker was on site the whole time & helped us when needed. There was one day that our water line broke, but Ernesto had it fixed within a few hours. Maria was amazing; we were told there would be someone coming to clean/pick up, but we had no idea she would come daily, clean the entire house/pool/patio, & insist on doing all our personal laundry & dishes. What a treat! We especially enjoyed the pool area & spending time on the terrace overlooking the amazing ocean views & witnessing the abundance of tropical birds. The only “drawbacks” were the non-air conditioned common living area & kitchen (the bedrooms are cooled very well), but apparently this is the standard in Costa Rican homes. Also, the beach is more than the 300 paces away as advertised, it is more like a 10-minute walk. The nearest beaches were our favorites of all the beaches we visited during our stay, & it’s a very easy walk other than the steep driveway. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay & I would highly recommend it!"

"Location was great, right on a quiet beach in a small Costa Rican town w/lots of food options. House was perfect for our large group, offering large gathering areas both outside and inside. Rooms are also very spacious, each w/their own bathroom, and some w/balconies overlooking the bay. Concierge (Jimmy) was very helpful in setting up excursions and overall coordination. Breakfast cook was fantastic and did all the clean-up after. House felt very secure w/in-room safes, large perimeter wall and front gate and a security guard during the night. And the daily housekeeping was a great bonus. The kitchen was well equipped, laundry room had 2 sets of washers & dryers, there were enough beach towels for everyone, and the outside refrigerator and commercial ice machine were all very convenient for the days we simply hung out at the pool. All in all, this house and the associated services hit the spot and made for a wonderful family vacation."

"An amazing place to stay! Perfect for a beach escape, with the quiet beach just a quick walk away. It has everything you need, a lovely pool, is impeccably clean, perfect layout, comfortable beds, and feels very safe in a great location. We only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Nice small hotel with black sand beach with gorgeous sunset and colors. The rooms are nice and large surrounding a mini jungle with nice trees and flowers. There are 2 restaurants-bars on the property that are totally overpriced (5-star hotel prices for a 3-star plus hotel). The staff is nice and the amenities are good. The pool is small and not really clean. "

"Beautiful and expansive classic villa with unique character. Incredible ocean views, especially at sunset from the balcony and infinity pool. Wonderful cook service, versatile menu that was deliciously executed by a flexible team that never disappointed. Great location with a variety of beaches, restaurants and shops nearby. Professional and timely communication with our VRBO host who was accommodating and helpful. We had 6 adults, 4 kids and a baby in our group and the property and local area was perfect for us. Our stay could not have been better, highly recommended. "
