"A fairly basic but perfectly good hotel. Very well positioned in the town. Lovely views. My twin room was spacious and airy. I could have done with being able to open the window more, as I felt rather warm! It was lovely to be able to see the sea from my room and hear the waves. Really good breakfast included, cooked to order. Perfect poached eggs! Great place for a relaxed stay. Just don't expect anything too polished or modern!"

"A small property, ideal for a single traveller. The bathroom was small but the towels were large and soft. Centrally located. It is above a fruit and vegetable shop so don’t expect to sleep in until lunch. The shop is thriving and perfect for your fresh supplies. I would stay there again if I’m in the location."

"Thank you Serena and Alec for our lovely stay with you in Penzance.The annex was so well equipped with everything we needed plenty of information about the locality and welcoming extras such as milk bread and butter coffee tea sugar and milk.I would highly recommend this property to stay at as the location is so central to all of the local attractions.The hosts went above and beyond even collecting myself and my daughter from the train station and dropping us off this morning.We will definitely be returning."

"Incredibly clean accommodation in a fantastic seafront location. Comfy beds. Did manage to park nearby everyday even in peak season. Close to town. Responsive host. Enjoyed looking at rock pools just in front of the property and swimming very nearby. Would love to stay again."
Torwood House Hotel

"We travelled with our dogs and had a great welcoming from the host who seemed like she would do anything to help. Location is closely to the town centre and parking closeby was easy. Breakfast was brilliant and very fresh definitely set us up for our day. Bed was comfortable so we had a goodnight sleep"
