"It is not possible to say how wonderful this hidden gem of a location is. Stephen and Kris were wonderful guests. So welcoming and kind. It was our second to last night of our 8 night trip. A different place every night. Hands down, without question, the most exquisite location we stayed at while driving through England.
Their attention to detail, exceptional. Quality of the bedding, towels, bathroom supplies were all the highest quality.
I have stayed in more places than I can count...
"The staff were excellent especially Alistair who is very hospitable and informative of the history of the hotel and it's surroundings. All the staff were polite and accommodating and the breakfast was amazing "
"The 18th century appearance of this inn evokes old style romanticism. The bar and dining area reflect the same. The food is honest pub fare. The room still smelled fresh from a recent renovation. The room was clean and the super king bed was very comfortable. Definitely worth the visit and keenly priced. "
