"As I pulled into the car park it dawned on me that I had stayed there before but it had been a Premier Inn back then. I am not sure why it was no longer part of that chain but it hadn't really changed. It was the same as it used to be. It was clean and tidy and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. One word of warning: On their website they say they are in walking distance of the city centre amenities such as the Emporium Theatre (which is why we were there). We used Google maps to plan our walk and when it suggested it would take 50 mins we decided that was a little too much of a stroll to the theatre and back. Other than that this is a very good, value for money, hotel with lovely staff."

"We didn’t actually stay in the property as my fiancé had an accident and we had to rebook for 24/5/25. The owner was kind enough to let us change the dates. We look forward to our stay in may and will then review the property and hope it’s a lovely as the customer service, we have already been provided. "

"Lovely done out property, all rooms are really spacious, clean and presentable, tvs in all rooms. Only 15 minutes from the centre and really quiet area to stay. Hosts are great for getting in touch with and offer a fair priced late checkout, we will definitely stay here again when coming back up :))) x"

"Felt as if the cottage needed a really good clean,there was a lot of black mould in the bathroom,it needs an extracter fan the,the shower had no pressure and the lights had a motion sensor so kept going out.Bins haven't been emptied and are overflowing. We had to fix the front door because it wouldn't lock. For £30 a night it was okay but i wouldn't rush back. Sorry"
