"We drove around the block 4 times looking the property. One sign printed on the awning with NO LIGHTS at night and a tree growing directly in front of it is not a recipe for success. Bathroom door needs planing down to actually close and the under microwave oven light didn't work."

"I was very satisfied with this hotel. The parking lot needed to be resurfaced, but that didn’t bother me at all other than that the individuals I spoke with were helpful. They even opened the breakfast a little early so that we could make our departure earlier"

"The building was a bit dated with older carpets and paint but the room was clean and large with all the amenities. Only complaint was strong smell of disinfectant but got used to it. Very dog friendly and lots of surrounding grass for the dogs. Great biscuits and gravy for a hotel breakfast."

"Seth is a fabulous host! Quick response and very accommodating. We had everything we needed and our cats were cozy! Wish it hadn't been so hot so we could.have enjoyed the screen porch.The king size bed is super comfy! Slept really well. Quiet neighborhood!"

"This property is beautiful. Lots of room for a big family. We stayed with our parents and adult children and grandchildren. The porches were such a nice place to sit and visit. We also loved all the open space. Rooms were set up nicely with options for kids. The dirt road to the property was walkable/joggable and there were a lot of deer on early mornings. Easy drive into Topeka or Lawrence. Also, we were able to get a Walmart delivery even though it’s just outside of town. Lastly, the host was so kind and responsive!! We definitely recommend the property for large families or a few couples visiting the area!"
