"Room was decent and clean. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure for showering was great! Staff were very polite and helpful. Pool and hot tub area is small but sufficient. There’s no beach. Food was very good, but pricey, at the 2 restaurants they have. Plenty of parking available. Close to everything."

"Better than average breakfast menu. Air conditioning was old school but worked. Excellent bar and restaurant. Room 120 involved way too many stairs for an old guy. Beware the question “Can you walk 50 steps?” They really mean stairs."

"It was a last minute booking and the team went above and beyond to not only accommodate me but assist with any requests I had. Cute boutique hotel with amazing views and attentive staff. "

"Friendly staff. Called for taxis, recommended ding, etc. Booked 3 rooms for two nights a week apart. First night one room had no hot water. Second night all 3 rooms had hot water an all six travelers were happy. Restaurant on premises was very good. Breakfast included with room was limited but excellently prepared. Staff was quick and friendly. Excellent choice.Espesially considering the cost."

"This was a very disappointing stay. The hotel feels extremely low-budget and lacks even the most basic amenities you would expect. The WiFi barely works, and the TV doesn’t connect properly, which made it frustrating to relax in the room. The bathroom was also poorly stocked no shampoos or basic toiletries provided, which is something most places include without question. The overall condition of the room felt neglected, and the experience from the moment we arrived didn’t improve things. The check-in process was unwelcoming, and it honestly felt like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. For the price, this hotel falls far below expectations. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you have absolutely no other option."

"Great place to stay , best host ever, million dollar view , but, driving up the mountain at night is not for the faint of heart, over all great place to stay, I will be back again next year, house was with in 20 minute to everywhere. Take the ferry over to St Johns you will love it, visit Honeymoon beach. Go to red hook to get your food and drinks for the house. best super market on the island. once again, the Host was super helpful."

"The Galleon House is so quaint and authentic, that we wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else! It is definitely a hike up a hill of steps, which fits into the location perfectly. The room was clean with a great balcony, air conditioning, adequate amenities for an island getaway, perfect options for continental breakfast with nice strong coffee, a refreshing pool, beautiful flora with lizards and a kittie mascot welcoming us each morning, a great central location, and very helpful, wonderful staff. Our favorite aspects of the room included a comfortable bed and pillows and a fantastic shower. We found the tile comfortable and water flow so refreshing and superior to many large chain establishments. This gem is truly an island experience that we will cherish!"
